LEADCAT®
Capability Analysis Tool to increase leadership effectiveness
LEADCAT® is a leadership Capability Analysis Tool designed to identify traits, behaviours, styles and skills that are known to correlate with strong leadership.
Why use LEADCAT®?
LEADCAT® is based on research (e.g. Derue et al. 2011) that shows that for both individuals and groups:
- leadership skills and behaviour can be learned
- leadership styles can be practised and acquired
- leadership learning approaches can become more conscious and deliberate
- leadership traits that improve team effectiveness can be identified, fostered and valued.
LEADCAT® identifies leaders’ current strengths and provides the data needed to guide ongoing leadership effectiveness.
Through group reports, LEADCAT® will assist your organisation by providing immediate and ongoing benefits including fresh insights into the leadership group’s capabilities, clear indicators about which aspects of the leadership group could be developed further and a new, shared language about the nature of leadership – helping to inspire members’ professional conversations, reflection and growth.
